NCR printing is the process of printing onto NCR paper, also known as carbonless copy paper, to create instant duplicate, triplicate and quadruplicate copies without the need for traditional carbon paper.
Custom NCR printing is commonly used for invoice books, receipt pads, delivery notes, purchase orders and many other business forms. NCR products can be fully personalised with your company logo, contact details, sequential numbering and bespoke layouts.

In the printing industry, the acronym NCR stands for No Carbon Required and it refers to a paper that has a special coating allowing it to produce instant copies of the original, so no need for the old fashioned messy blue carbon paper!
The back of the first sheet is coated with micro-encapsulated dye and the face of the second sheet is coated with clay that quickly reacts to the pressure of a pen (or dot matrix printer) to form a permanent mark. Any further sheets required are coated with clay on top and dye on the bottom, allowing for 2, 3, 4 or even more copies of the original sheet.
